We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Media Buyer for Programmatic Media to lead and establish Overwolf’s programmatic media buying activity from the ground up. This senior-level position calls for a visionary strategist with hands-on expertise and a proven track record of building successful campaigns and processes from scratch. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Establish and lead the programmatic media buying function, including defining strategies, processes, and tools for success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with DSPs, publishers, and media networks to access premium inventory.
  • Build and execute programmatic media campaigns on platforms such as Google DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon, etc.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to secure 3rd party inventory.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign operations, including planning, setup, optimization, tracking, QA, and reporting.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI
  • Conduct audience research to create precise targeting strategies tailored to needs.
  • Establish relationships with programmatic platforms, ad networks, and external partners to maximize reach and efficiency.
  • Provide ongoing performance insights to stakeholders, supported by actionable recommendations for growth.
  • Take ownership of key performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and managing programmatic and performance media activities from the ground up – a must-have.
  • 3+ years of experience in desktop and mobile programmatic advertising platforms, focusing on the demand side. Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
  • Deep expertise in programmatic advertising platforms like Google DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale budgets effectively.
  • Experience in gaming-related advertising is a significant advantage.
  • Strategic and Hands-On Approach: A strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • High Negotiation skills to secure competitive rates
  • Familiarity with tracking technologies, pixels, and attribution models
  • Analytical Skills: Strong knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics or Tableau, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage the challenges of building from scratch.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High-level or native-level written and spoken English proficiency to communicate effectively with international teams, partners, and clients.
